More celeb iPhone apps – now it is Jamie Oliver's turn
Incoming trend alert. In the old days in order to be credible celebs needed a huge house, a string of high profile affairs and a big budget TV contract. Now it seems you have to add to that list an iPhone app. We have already seen Noel Edmonds Cosmic Ordering app now it is the turn of TV chef Jamie Oliver to unleash himself all over the OS with his 20 Minute Meals.
It is quite a sober and sensible idea in that for £4.99 (bit pricey Jamie) you get access to a load of recipes (with accompanying imatges and video) which apparently only take 20 minutes to rustle up. The fun bit is that if you can’t be bothered to decide what to cook you simply shake your iPhone or iPod touch to generate a random recipe. The only downside is that you need to be organised. After all a recipe that takes 20 minutes to cook is great, but will turn out pretty useless if you don’t have all the ingredients.
I’d say the app sounds Pukka, but he doesn’t say that any more now does he?
