oranglo.jpgOrange have announced that it will sell the iPhone on its network from November 10th. The launch will come just a day after O2’s exclusive contract with Apple expires.

There have already been over 200,000 pre-orders for the smartphone with the network operator, despite few details being revealed on Orange’s intended pricing plan.

Vodafone are also set to sell the handset from early next year, with network operators T-Mobile and 3 also expected to join the fray sometime during 2010.

Those holding out for an under-cutting pricing war between the networks may have to wait a long time however. Analysts argue that the premium product iPhone sold at a cheapened price would not make strategic sense for the competing networks.
