Microsoft’s premium Xbox Live Gold service will be available for free for 5 days in European regions next week, giving all Silver account members a taste of the numerous new additions to Microsoft’s online catalogue.

Those taking part in the free trial will be able to do everything that Gold subscribers currently enjoy; online gaming, free demos and premium downloads, and also access to the brand new Twitter, Netflix and Last. FM tabs.

European Xbox 360 owners can access the free trial between 5pm GMT on the 25th November until 5pm GMT on the 30th November.

The rest of the world can connect for free a little earlier, between 12am EST on the November 20th and 12pm EST on the 23rd November.

Love Xbox live especially as it only cost me £26 for a year when virgin closed down. problem is PS3 owners get something similar for free!
