First footage of new Medal of Honor game revealed
Saturday night’s SpikeTV Video Game Awards featured brand new footage of the long-rumoured Medal of Honor franchise reboot.
Set in a modern day Afghanistan, the trailer features scenes certainly reminiscent of the behemoth Modern Warfare titles.
The Medal of Honor and Call of Duty games have always had a symbiotic relationship. Infinity Ward, the developers behind Modern Warfare and the Call of Duty franchise were actually a breakaway team who had worked on Medal of Honor: Allied Assault. It seems things have gone full circle then, with the Medal of Honor team now taking direct inspiration from Modern Warfare.
While it’s only cinematic footage on show here, it definitely looks promising, with the game looking to be on a far grander scale than recent entries into the Medal of Honor series.
