McGraw-Hill boss lets slip Apple Tablet confirmation live on TV

With only hours left until the massively anticipated Apple announcement, Terry McGraw, CEO of publishing house McGraw-Hill has all but confirmed that Apple’s secret project will be the Tablet. In a LIVE TELEVSION INTERVIEW.

Speaking to CNBC initially on Apple’s monumental earnings, McGraw was questioned about the rumoured tablet. A simple “no comment” would have sufficed, but McGraw’s tongue was feeling particularly loose it would seem.

“Very exciting,” said McGraw, “They’ll make their announcement tomorrow on this one. We’ve worked with Apple for quite some time and the tablet is going to be based on the iPhone operating system, so it’ll be transferrable,”

He continued: “We have a consortium of eBooks and we have 95% of all our materials in eBook formats. So now with the tablet you’re going to open up the higher education market, the professional market, the tablet is going to be just really terriffic.”

Didn’t exactly pay much attention to that NDA, huh Terry? Something tells me you wont be on Steve Jobs’ Christmas card list this year.
