Stephen Colbert pulls iPad out of unfeasibly large pocket at the Grammys

Having trouble keeping the hype snowball rolling at a good speed after the underwhelming iPad launch, it looks like Apple might have invested in a spot of product placement to keep the tablet in the spotlight.
And the spotlights don’t come much brighter than at the Grammys. At the 52nd annual show, political satirist Stephen Colbert pulled an iPad out of his jacket while giving the award for Song of the Year.
“Jay-Z, did you not get one of these in your gift bag? Am I cooler than you?” Colbert asked.
However, according to the blogosphere, Colbert’s speech bombed on the night. Perhaps this wasn’t the sort of brainwashing association that Apple had in mind exactly. Bring back Jeff Goldblum, I’d say.
