I can’t remember the last time I paid for an application or program — disregarding mobile apps ones. Think about it, when did you last pay for native application?

Let’s ignore games too, because they don’t really count. What was it? Mine was iLife ’09, which comes as a free suite on all new Macs anyway, before that, I can’t remember buying anything.

Everything we need these days, that we used to rely on native apps for, like word processing or spreadsheets and arguably presentations can be done just as well in your browser.
