Apple begin taking iPad app submissions

With the iPad‘s April 3rd launch date now just around the corner, Apple have begun taking submissions for dedicated iPad-only apps.
Though the iPad apps are made using the same SDK as those currently on the App Store for the iPhone and iPod Touch, iPad exclusives are starting to pop up here and there as developers get to work on Apple’s new device. The iPad will be backwards compatible with apps already available for the iPod and iPhone, but new titles such as Secret Exit’s Zen Bound 2 will only work on the new tablet device.
Any iPad apps hoping to make it onto the App Store in time for the iPads April 3rd launch will have to be quick though; March 27th is the cut off date for submissions to be featured on the day of release.
