Facebook raises the photo size cap
Share
They’ve been promising it since January, but Zuckerberg and co. have finally raised the Facebook photo size cap from 604 pixels to 720 pixels, an almost 20% size increase.
So now all your drunken snaps can be seen all over the web 20% bigger than before! Perfect! Or, actually, no, that’s awful. Better have your de-tagging finger at the ready.
However, those hoping that all their titchy photos would automatically get bumped up the new max size are out of luck. Looks like you’re going to have to re-upload any old snaps to make the most of the new higher resolution, which I doubt few people will be bothered enough to do.
