Dell Lightning QWERTY handset leaks online, looks electrifying
Dell have been making tentative steps towards the mobile phone market for a little while now. While you’re likely only associating them with computers for the time being, leaked shots of what’s being refereed to as the Dell Lightning handset could see them making waves in a brand new sector.
Running the hotly tipped Windows Phone 7 OS, it packs in a 1GHz processor, a 5 megapixel camera, 1 GB or internal memory and 512 MB or RAM, an 8GB microSD card, accelerometer, GPS, compass, FM radio and, wait for it, full Flash support.
Perhaps most impressive of all is the display; 4.1 inches of OLED goodness sitting above a QWERTY slide out keyboard.
Looking sharp ahead of it’s predicted Q4 2010 release. Rumour has it there’s even a 4G LTE update due in 2011. We’ll be keeping a close eye on this one.
