Nokia unveil the C6 messaging phone
Nokia have revealed their C6 messaging phone at this morning’s Everyone Connect event. It may not be the Nokia N8 Symbian ^3 handset that many believed yesterday’s cryptic countdown would unveil, but this QWERTY slider will certainly be worth a look for those who are a bit SMS text-happy.
Running Symbian S60 5th edition, the Nokia C6’s landscape QWERTY is a four-line affair, sliding out from beneath a 3.2 inch 640×360 touchscreen.
The Nokia C6 also sports a 5 megapixel camera as well as one for video calling, an FM radio, a-GPS, Wi-Fi, and HSDPA connectivity. Storage is expandable via microSD cards.
Coming in black and white colours, the Nokia C6 should launch sometime this Spring, priced at around €220 (£195).
