Pac-Man's 30th birthday celebrated with playable Google doodle!
How cool is this?! To mark retro gaming icon Pac-Man’s 30th birthday, Google have not only turned their doodle logo over to the little yellow pill-popper, but have also made it the first ever playable Google doodle.
Head on over to the Google homepage and you’ll be greeted with 256 playable levels of Pac-Man fun. You’ll also notice that the “I’m Feeling Lucky” button has been replaced by an insert coin button allowing two players to play at once, one with the arrow keys and the other taking the role of Ms Pac Man with the WASD keys. Or if you’re really hardcore, you can attempt a game of two handed Pac-Man!
As the blogosphere cower in fear of Google’s plans for world domination, I on the other hand whole-heartedly pledge my allegiance to any totalitarian regime which can throw up a slice of awesome this big on a Friday afternoon.
Click here to give it a try.
Wakka wakka wakka!
