Picklive real-time fantasy football network launches in time for the World Cup!
Picklive, the world’s first real-time online fantasy football game, has just left the beta stage and is now open to all comers. Just in time for the World Cup too!
Picklive takes the traditional fantasy football idea and condenses it into 7 and a half minute games. You log-on, pick three players as your fantasy team during any live match currently in progress and watch as they earn points based on an “as-it-happens” scoring system. You’re also allowed substitutions during the quick-fire games, meaning you can take on a player who may be having a great run of play.
Get some friends to sign up too and you can then pit your team in a head-to-head live contest against their chosen three players.
Co-creator Tim Morgan says “Our test phase has gone better than we could ever have hoped for and we are extremely excited about the impact the World Cup will have. Picklive is a totally unique take on fantasy football and offers a chance to play against mates and prove your one-upmanship throughout the match.”
Picklive is free to play until the World Cup begins. From then on in it’s £1 per game you play, with a chance of winning the pot if your team racks up a high score.

Yep what.s good for the goose is good for the gander. Great idea.
Notice that the Chinese know how to do a stimulus package, while no one in power seems to know how to do a stimulus package here in the US.
Thanks for sharing. His music will continue to rock!
Hey Gerald, we’re obviously really looking forward to the World Cup at Picklive we’ll be covering every match. Also during the tournament we’ll still be running a free version of the game alongside the pay-to-play version.
