Acer Liquid E smartphone gets Ferrari makeover
Acer are to launch a special edition of their Liquid E handset, fully branded by super-car manufacturers Ferrari.
Coming in the iconic red finish that Ferarris are known for, the phone has chrome edging, the Ferrari insignia on the back and Ferrari wallpapers and media stored within.
In terms of actual technical features, it’s the same as the regular Liquid E; an Android 2.1 handset with a 3.5 inch touchscreen, Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and a 5MP camera.
“A Ferrari is not just about speed,” says Gianpiero Morbello, Acer marketing and brand VP. “It is an expression of beauty, power, excitement, pleasure and natural excellence. From the original concept to the finished product the new smartphone was conceived down to the finest details with the idea of giving a stronger sense of belonging to all Ferrari fans.”
If you want the full set of speed-demon themed gear from Acer, there is also a Ferrari decorated Bluetooth headset and case to grab too.
