Motorola Milestone XT720 "Motoroi" headed to the UK
Motorola’s Milestone XT720, previously seen under the Motorola Motoroi moniker back at February’s Mobile World Congress, is now officially headed to the UK.
The 10.9mm thick Android phone is pretty much a souped-up Milestone/Droid, that ditches the slide out QWERTY keyboard in favour of specs superior to that of its predecessor.
The touchscreen-only smartphone runs Android 2.1 (no Froyo here sadly, nor Motoblur skinning), features a 3.7 inch screen, an 8MP camera with xenon flash that can record 720p video and be outputted to a flatscreen TV over HDMI.
It incorporates Motorola’s Crystal Talk technology for clear sound quality in calls, has a 3.5mm headphone socket, built in Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth and expandable storage up to 32GB with microSD cards.
Due out at the end of the month, the XT720 has yet to attach itself to a network officially, though it has been spotted with T-Mobile branding on some handsets. More on this promising phone as we get it.
