Sky Sports subscribers get Sky Mobile TV app access for free
Sky subscribers with access to the broadcaster’s sports packages will now be offered the Sky Mobile TV app for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch free of charge.
The app gives on-the-go coverage of Sky Sports 1, 2, 3, and 4 as well as Sky News and Sky Sports News, and usually has its own subscription cost of £6 a month.
“Delivering Sky Sports and Sky News content over multiple devices – including HD over the set-top box, online and on mobile – gives our subscribers more choice and control over when and where they enjoy our services, providing more value and convenience,” said Mike Darcey, BSkyB COO.
“By offering innovative access to Sky Sports across Mobile TV and Sky Player, we are providing a truly accessible multiplatform experience for our customers.”
If you aren’t eligible to get the app subscription for free, pick it up from iTunes here.
