Video: Trailer for Facebook movie "The Social Network" looks surprisingly good. No, seriously…
When I first heard news of “The Social Network”, a movie about Facebook, I certainly had my eyebrows raised. Sure, it’s an unprecedented story of success, but come on, it’s still just a website for crying out loud!
However, after seeing this latest trailer of the David Fincher directed flick, I’m actually quite excited. Jesse Eisenberg seems perfectly cast as Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, and even Justin Timberlake seems to be holding his own in what seems to be shaping up as a pretty thoughtful examination of friendship and the price of success.
Based on The Accidental Billionaires: The Founding Of Facebook, A Tale of Sex, Money, Genius, and Betrayal by Ben Mezrich, it’s due for release in the States on the 1st of October, with a global release in the weeks that follow.
We’ll give you the full low-down when it hits cinemas then.
