Xbox 360 S Halo Reach edition on its way
If you’re a Halo fan eyeing up the new Xbox 360 slim S edition console, you might want to just hold on a second before dipping into your pockets. Microsoft are preparing to launch a Halo Reach themed version of the the new svelte machine, and it doesn’t look half bad.
Whereas many special edition consoles get a bit garish and slap characters and insignias all over the show, the Halo Reach edition is a far more classy affair. With a silvery tint and a machine-joint-like design across both the console and bundled in controller, you can quite easily see the Master Chief himself settling down for a marathon gaming session with it.
The Xbox specs themselves remain unchanged from the previous S edition, with a 250GB hard drive and built in Wi-Fi. There’s also a new wireless headset on the way, though that will not come as part of the package.
Stateside readers can pre-order their special edition console here from Amazon, priced $399.99.
