Video: Dell Thunder caught on camera
Whilst touting an impressive spec sheet, the slightly-too-small-for-a-tablet, slightly-too-big-for-a-phone Dell Streak is unlikely to suit many people’s pocket sizes to a tee.
No matter. Dell look to have the smartphone sector quite sewn up, as the latest video previewing the Dell Thunder handset shows. Hit the video above to check it out.
First spotted back in April, the 4.1 inch OLED touchscreen phone is looking mightily impressive. Running at an 800×480 resolution with an 8MP camera, LED Flash and 720p video recording capabilities, it’s far more reasonably sized than its big brother the Streak, and just as fully-featured to boot.
Though it’s currently running Android 2.1 at this prototype development stage, it could potentially hit stores with Android 3.0 courtesy of its Q4 2010 suggested release date, making it all the more tempting a proposition.
Looking certain to be quite an impressive turn out from Dell in terms of mobile hardware this year then. Keep in mind we’ve yet to see very much on the Dell Flash and Dell Smoke, nor the Windows Phone 7 Dell Lightning handset. All were briefly shown off in April, and all are looking very interesting indeed.
