NokiaC7_charcoal_black_2.jpgAlong with the E7 and C6 smartphones, Nokia also today revealed their new C7 handset. Though a match for the N8 in terms of power, the C7 sits lower on the price scale due to a few scalebacks on certain features.

For instance, whereas the N8 is rocking a 12 MP sensor, the C7 has just an 8MP one with a dual LED Flash, though it does maintain the HD recording capabilities, maxing out at a 720p resolution captured at 25fps.

In terms of size and build, the C7 is pretty pocket-friendly at 117.3 x 56.8 x 10.5mm and weighing 130g. A vibrant 3.5 inch AMOLED touchscreen features, though like the E7, it only manages an average 640×360 resolution.

8GB of memory is built in, expandable by a further 32GB via MicroSD cards. Connectivity options include HSDPA/CDMA, Wi-Fi b/g/n, and Bluetooth 3.0, whilst the full range of free Nokia Ovi apps, including Ovi Maps, come pre-installed.

The C7 will launch in Q4 of this year, with a suggested retail price of 335 Euros, before taxes.

Roll down for some hands on pics with the new smartphone.
