Nokia World 2010: C6-01 smartphone ditches QWERTY keyboard
Remember this summer’s C6 Nokia smartphone release? Well it’s had a bit of a makeover, and now returns as the C6-01.
Gone is the slide-out keyboard, with the C6-01 instead sporting a full-touch set up across its 3.2 inch capacitive screen, running at a 640×360 resolution.
It’s a little on the chunky side at 13.9 mm x 103.8 mm x 52.5 mm, and weighs a gram more than its 131g big brother the C7, despite having a marginally smaller screen.
An 8MP camera sits on the back, not to be sniffed at considering this sits at the budget end of Nokia’s new smartphone range. It’ll also be capable of shooting 720p video.
Connectivity options include 3G, Bluetooth 3.0, GPS and 802.11b/g/n, and you can expect around 11 and half hours talk time or 17 days on standby from a single charge of the battery.
You’re looking at a Q4 release for the C6-01, with an expected retail price of 260 Euros.
Roll down for some hands on pics of the new smartphone.

Android is improving on a daily basis and they are coming up with some new great Bowflex PR1000 ideas. Well done android.
I’m pretty happy with my android phone. I think it is better than the iphone operating system.
