Zombies beware – Left 4 Dead 2 hits Mac computers tomorrow

The multiplayer zombie-blast fest that is Left 4 Dead 2 is hitting Mac computers tomorrow through the Steam platform. Squeamish Apple fanboys need not apply.
Steam developers Valve revealed the release date over the weekend, allowing Mac gamers to find out why PC users have been raving over the zombie franchise for the last year or so. Up for grabs from Tuesday 5th of October, those who already have the game on PC can nab it for free for the Mac, including all three DLC campaigns too.
Though Mac gamers will still have to wait until around Halloween for the first Left 4 Dead game to hit their platform, at least they’ll be able to blast their way through the superior sequel by this time tomorrow.

Cooperative games emphasize participation, challenge and fun rather than defeating someone.focus on fun and interaction rather than competition and alienation. Cooperative games are not new. Some of the classic we participated in as children are classic because of the play emphasis.
The question is can mac gamers really handle zombie games?
