Internet games lead to murder and suicide in South Korea

A 15 year old boy has killed his mother and committed suicide after a row over online gaming escalated into violence.
The unnamed student from Seoul, South Korea had got into a fight with his mother on Monday night after she berated him for spending too much time playing “internet games” according to police official Jung Yo-il.
The next day the boy strangled his mother, before hanging himself in their home in the port city of Busan.
The boy had, according to his sister, become obssessed with violent online video games, though there has yet to be any mention of a specific title.
A sad story, and one that’s going to stir up heated debate between pro and anti-gaming groups alike.
