LG E-Note H1000B Windows 7 tablet revealed
While the world waits with baited breath for news on LG’s Android Optimus tablet, the Korean electronics crew have evealed details on a Windows 7 slate to keep us busy in the interim. Enter the E-Note H1000B, a 10.1 inch device tha’ll set you back around £530.
There are a few different configurations to choose from with the E-Note H1000B. Firstly, OS set ups; Windows 7 Starter or Windows 7 Professional are up for grabs. Then there’s CPU options, in the shape of either an Intel Atom Z510 (clocked at 1.1GHz or Z530 (1.6GHz).
From there in it’s all the same on any device. A 16GB SSD is inside, expandable via SD slot, Wi-Fi, 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0 and two USB ports.
With Windows 7 still really an unproven OS in terms of tablet computing, we’ll keep a close eye on the E-Note to see if it lives up to LG’s usual high standards. At least until they unzip about that Honeycomb Optimus anyway.
