APP OF THE DAY: The Thick Of It "Malcolm Tucker: The Missing Phone"

Comedy fans can bring some mid-week satire to their iPhone’s today after top Armando Iannucci comedy “The Thick Of It”, gets its own app.

“Malcolm Tucker: The Missing Phone” allows a glimpse into the fictional TV spin doctor’s private life, letting you browse his seedy messages, turning your handset into his “lost” iPhone. The “The Missing DoSAC” files can be accessed, which would surely send Peter Capaldi’s character up the wall.

Elsewhere the app offers new scripts by the genius Iannucci, as well as material from co-writers Jesse Armstrong, Simon Blackwell, Tony Roche and Ian Martin. The Thick of It stars Rebecca Front, Chris Addison and Peter Capaldi himself also feature.
