A few shakey reviews don’t seem to have put off the Apple faithful when it comes to their new Apple TV kit. The Cult of Cupertino have already bought up close to a millon of the units, a figure they expect to “eclipse” by the end of the week.
Though it didn’t have the app-tastic interface many fans were hoping for, an iOS 4.2 update did bring AirPlay to the new Apple TV, making it far more useful by letting you stream music, videos and photos from one Apple device to another.
Cheap and cheerful at £99, its a safe bet that it’ll surpass the million mark over the Christmas rush.
