Nolan confirms Inception videogame is planned
Don’t worry, you weren’t dreaming when you read that headline; this summer’s cinema blockbuster Inception is to be made into a videogame.
Director Christopher Nolan confirmed the news in an interview with Inside Movies, stating that he and a team of collaboraters are working on the project.
“I always imagined Inception to be a world where a lot of other stories could take place. At the moment, the only direction we’re channeling that is by developing a video game set in the world,” he said.
“[Games are] something I’ve wanted to explore” added Nolan, but conceded that any such project would be “a longer-term proposition”.
Nolan also added that a sequel to the brain-bending thriller could be on the cards, but so far has no concrete plans to make it happen.
So what would you want to see from an Inception game? An MMO where ou recruit your own dream team? A shooter/puzzler hybrid? How about a Kinect game where you have to run up the walls of your house? Let us know in the comments below.
