VIDEO: PSP Phone now called the Sony Ericsson Z1?
Could this be the first video of the often-rumoured PSP Phone? That’s what gadget site TechBlog are claiming, having spotted the handset out and about in Greece.
Though the video is quite blurry, it does seem to show a device very similar to that of the apparent prototype caught in spyshots by Engadget recently. Roughly 4 inches in size, it fits the bill of that handset, though never slides out in the video to reveal the expected gaming keys.
However, the site is claiming that the handset will drop the PSP branding, instead favouring the Sony Ericsson Z1 moniker.
Presuming this is the real deal then, the handset is well on its way for that rumoured December 9th launch date. It also has every possibility of being among the first Android 2.3 Gingerbread devices too, if it’s set for an early 2011 release. Oh how we hope!
