LG Optimus 2X hitting UK stores in February

LG’s Optimus 2X has been given a release date, and it’s so tantalisingly close we can almost feel the slipstream coming off the handset’s super-fast dual-core processor.
The Android handset (which came in at number 2 on Tech Digest’s Top 10 CES Gadgets and Announcements list) has been confirmed to be “coming mid to end of February,” by James Choi, marketing strategy and planning team director of LG Electronics Global.
The first of the new wave of dual-core superphones, the Optimus 2X is expected to ship with Android 2.3 come that February release date.
