First-generation iPad prices are dropping faster than a pervert’s pants now that the iPad 2 UK launch is only weeks away.

One of the most dramatic price drops we’ve seen has come from the Three network, who are knocking off £100 from their upfront iPad contract price, meaning you can grab a 16GB Wi-Fi and 3G iPad for £99 on a £20 per month 15GB data plan. Those not interested in the incremental improvements made for the iPad 2 should head over to the Three store now, as the deal is strictly only while stocks last, with Apple ceasing production on first-gen iPads.

It’s worth noting though that the deal is a 24 month contract, which means you’ll likely see third or even fourth generation iPads ready by the time you’ve paid your dues to Three.

In other news, the iPad 2 has today officially began shipping to US Apple stores and customers who had pre-ordered the device.
