Charlie Chaplin's birthday commemorated by Google Doodle
Share
Google’s Doodle logo team have had a very busy week indeed! First Yuri Gagarin’s first manned space flight got a nod, then steam engine inventor Richard Trevithick’s birthday was given the Google homepage treatment too.
Now silent movie star Charlie Chaplin gets commemorated too, with today’s Doodle marking what would have been his 122nd birthday. And it’s a classic.
A full movie staring a Chaplin impersonator, its playable, playback controls and all, directly from the Doodle itself. A YouTube version of the video is also available.
View it in all its silent movie glory by clicking here.
