HTC Flyer: £600 from May, say Carphone Warehouse
Mobile retailier Carphone Warehouse has just outed its pricing and release plans for HTC’s fledgling tablet offering, the HTC Flyer.
With a rough release date of May, they’re going to be stickering up their HTC Flyer boxes with a £600 price tag. Though HTC are yet to release an official release date or pricing info beyond whipsers of a Q2 launch, the cost and rough launch date corroborate’s with a previous schedule outlined by retailers Clove.
That makes the single-core, stylus packing tablet (as seen in the video above) a fair whack more expensive than both the Motorola Xoom and entry-level iPad 2. Here’s hoping the networks offer some pretty generous subsidised offers, or HTC may be in a spot of bother with this one.
