Social sharing features updated on Flip camera software, new smartphone apps launch too
The popular Flip pocket camcorders are to get an updated software suite and range of related iOS and Android apps, manufacturers Cisco have announced.
The software, making it easier to share videos with pals, will ship with all new Flip camcorders. It will allow you to create a group of pals with which to share your footage, giving them access to any videos you upload via the software itself, the new mobile phone apps, or online at www.flipshare.com.
You’ll also be able to comment on videos from the new apps and software, invite friends from a mobile phone’s address book, and upload cameraphone pics and videos to the FlipShare groups too.
