"One wants an iPad 2" says Queen

Queen Elizabeth II is becoming quite the Apple fangirl. She already has two iPods, and now she’s after an iPad 2 aswell.
According to The Sun, the 85 year old royal became smitten with the tablet after playing around with her grandson Prince William’s slate.
Apparently, the Queen was “particularly taken with how easy it was to use, the large screen and how light it was.”
“For a woman of her age, she is very switched on. It was only a matter of time before she asked someone to go and get her one,” a Bukingham Place insider added.
Any app suggestions for Her Royal Highness? Perhaps Cut The Rope to give her a bit of ribbon-cutting practice?

Some believe it came from celebrations involving the first day of spring. The closest point in time that can be identified as the beginning of this tradition was in 1582, in France. Before that year, the new year was celebrated for eight days, beginning on March 25.

Unlike most of the other non-foolish holidays, the history of April Fool’s Day, sometimes called All Fools’ Day, is not totally clear.
I feel like I’m often looking for interesting things to read about a variety of subjects, but I manage to include your blog among my reads every day because you have interesting entries that I look forward to. Here’s hoping there’s a lot more great material coming!
