Nokia Sea Ray – First Nokia Windows Phone 7 device caught on camera

It’s been a long time coming, but we’ve finally got our first glimpse at Nokia’s Windows Phone 7 range. Speaking at an internal Nokia conference, CEO Stephen Elop lifted the lid on the Nokia Sea Ray.

A working codename, the device looks incredibly similar to the Nokia N9 announced earlier this week, except of course for the Windows Phone 7 Mango OS onboard and a slightly shifted LED placement.

“This is something that is super confidential,” explained Elop during the briefing.

“We do not want to see it out in the blogosphere but we want to show you how this innovation lives and how well we as a company are today executing.”

However, despite Elop’s request asking cameras to be put away, the leaked demonstration video of the Sea Ray device, posted above, seems a very cooly considered affair, with cuts and edits that lead us to believe this is an internally, intentionally leaked video.

Hit about a minute in for a glimpse of what to expect when Nokia’s first Windows Phone 7 handsets touch down in Autumn of this year.
