beach-phone.jpgOrange have re-jigged their data roaming costs, making it a little bit more affordable for holidaymakers to surf the web abroad over the summer.

Paying in advance, and only coughing up the cash if they actually end up finding the time to browse the web on their phones while abroad, Orange users will be offered £15/30MB, £50/150MB or £150/500MB monthly bundles. Those heading out on one-off trips can purchase one-off 30 day bundles that don’t reccur too.

Alternatively, a £3 one-off payment will nab you 30MB of data, which is comparable to the £2 for 25MB currently offered by Vodafone.

“Whether our customers want to upload their latest holiday snaps on Facebook or simply send an email sharing tales and adventures, many people consider internet access an integral part of any trip,” said Liz Wynn, director of In Life, Orange UK.

“For this very reason we are introducing the new daily roaming bundle and have already revised existing monthly and 30 day roaming bundles for the EU to help our Pay Monthly customers get the most out of their mobile internet while in Europe.”

Orange customers interested in grabbing the offer can dial 150 on their handsets to speak to an Orange customer service advisor.
