Grand Theft Auto V officially announced
Wannabe gangsters take note: Rockstar have officially announced that the next installment in their mega-popular, super-controversial crime video game series is on its way. Grand Theft Auto V will be a full new title (not a GTA IV add-on pack like Lost and the Damned), with the first trailer set to be revealed on November 2nd.
So far, there’s nothing really to go on beyond the logo above, but even that offers a few clues.
That “V/Five” emblem has the green-sheen of an American dollar, which while an obvious symbol of wealth and potentiall corruption, coud also be seen as hint towards hip-hop culture, much like that seen in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.
Looks like we’re leaving the west coast to mark our territory on the east coast of the US for GTA V then, we’d say. Either way, they’re going to have to do some exemplary work to top the near-perfect Red Dead Redemption.
More news as we get it, but for now, why not share below what you’d hope to see from the next Grand Theft Auto game? Top of our wishlist is an improved cover system, and hopefully none of the stupid friend missions that plagued GTA IV.

Their first playoff win in NBA franchise history was earned in Game 3 of their first-round, best-of-five series against the Atlanta Hawks, but it was their only victory in that series, as the Hawks defeated them in four games.
