Leaked picture suggests Samsung Galaxy S3 will be physically bigger than S2
We’re just a few days away from the official unvieling of Samsung’s Galaxy S3 handset, and the leaks are coming thick and fast now.
This latest image, courtesy of KnowYourMobile.com, shows what is reportedly the Samsung Galaxy S3 handily placed alongside a ruler.
If the photo is indeed the real deal, it means we can now confirm that the Samsung Galaxy S3 will be marginally larger than its predecessor the Galaxy S2 at 130mm.
From that measurement, we can also roughly ascertain the screen size. Measured diagonally, and using the in-image ruler as a guide, we figure the Galaxy S3’s screen to be somewhere around the 4.7 to 4.8 inches mark.
Though the shot’s a little murky, we can also just about spot a physical home key, flanked by two touch-sensitive buttons, which lays to rest rumours that the Galaxy S3 will be little more than a souped-up Galaxy Nexus.
Not long to go now before we get the grand unveiling by Samsung. Head back to Tech Digest on Thursday night (May 3rd) for all the juicy, official details on the Samsung Galaxy S III.
