laura-jeanne.jpgSinger/songwriter Laura Jeanne is to make web and music history later this month by releasing a song which has had its lyrics crowdsourced by Facebook fans.

Originally from St Albans in the UK, Jeanne bagged the chance to take part in the never-before-attempted project after making it to the final of The BIG TIME on US channel ABC Television.

Jeanne is now preparing to put music to the words submitted by Facebook fans of beer-brand Budweiser (who have sponsored the recording), who number some 150,000 strong.

“Having this platform to start my career and follow my ambition to become an artist is brilliant and I hope everyone wants to be part of my new song. It’s so exciting to realise that so many people can be involved,” said Laura Jeanne.

“We were inspired by Laura Jeanne’s story and believe our Facebook fans will be as well,” added Iain Newell, Budweiser’s European Marketing Director.

“This is why we’re continuing to support Laura Jeanne in her quest for stardom. We’ve worked closely together to try and fulfill her dreams by creating a unique moment – a journey our fans will also be able to enjoy.”
