Sony Xperia Miro revealed via Facebook
Sony have used Facebook to reveal their latest smartphone, the Android Ice-Cream Sandwich-packing Xperia Miro, which offers deep integration with Zuckerberg’s massive social network inside a chassis that illuminates.
Aimed at the teen, mid-range market by the looks of things (though pricing and availability are yet to be confirmed), the phone glows different colours depending on whether you’ve missed different sorts of messages or notifications, each of which can be customised.
More standard specs include a 3.5 inch touchscreen, a front-facing camera for video calling and a 5MP camera on the rear, recording video at 30fps at unspecified resolutions.
As stated, the phone was revealed through Facebook due to it’s deep use of the social network, with Facebook widgets and notifications tied into the phone’s messaging and contacts systems.
When it’s eventually released, you’ll be able to pick up the Sony Xperia Miro in black, black and pink, white and white and gold shades.
