New iPhone 5 case leak shows both black and white longer shells
A new photo claiming to show the front panel of the new Apple iPhone 5 has hit the web, showing off both black and white variants of the new rumoured smartphone.
Matching the latest rumours that the next-gen handset will sport a larger display, the iPhone 5 appears to have a longer screen than previous generations, as plenty of rumours so far have suggested.
Of course, with no official word from Apple, the photo could easily be from dubious origins. There’s little invention here, with a large hole for a home button, and small front-mounted camera slot all very similar to the iPhone standards already set. Likewise, it’s not much of a stretch to assume Apple will be offering both black and white variants. Give us over at Tech Digest a sheet of black and a sheet of white plastic, a few hours and a nail file and we could probably knock out a similar pair of panels.
Take this one with a pinch of salt then. Last week’s side-by-side comparison with the iPhone 4S was more interesting in our books.
