Samsung Galaxy Note 2 to launch on 29/08/2012 at Mobile Unpacked event at IFA 2012?
Samsung’s Galaxy Note looks set to get a successor this Autumn, with Samsung confirming that they will be hosting a ‘Samsung Mobile Unpacked’ event at the IFA 2012 technology conference in berlin on 29/08/2012. Could the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 land before the end of the year?
The press conference invite has the tagline “Pushing Boundaries”, with previous Mobile Unpacked events from Samsung revealing devices like the Galaxy S3.
With this latest Samsung press conference kicking off a day prior to the main show, it looks as though Samsung are looking to steal the headlines early with something big. And mobile devices don’t come much bigger than the Galaxy Note. 
A second invite (top of this page), displaying a magic wand, seems to tease the Galaxy Note’s stylus input, but that’s not the only device that Samsung may have up their sleeve.
As well as the potential giant smartphone launch, Samsung are expected to reveal new Windows Phone 8 devices, and a Retina iPad rivalling high resolution tablet.
