Pitched as a rival to the Google Nexus 7 (and with a £179.99 price to back up that claim), it uses a Nvidia Tegra 3 1.2GHz quad-core processor and 1GB of RAM to power its 1024×600 LCM (liquid crystal monitor) screen.

Weighing 390g, it houses 8GB of internal memory, which can be expanded by a further 32GB with microSD cards.

Connection options include HDMI out and micro USB 2.0, while under the hood is a 3420 mAh battery that’s good for 240 hours standby time and 7 and a half hours of video playback per full charge.

Rounding off the spec sheet is a 2MP front facing camera for video calling, though there’s no mention of a rear one.

Shipping on October 1, you can pre-order the Acer Iconia Tab A110 from eBuyer now.
