RIM responds to the Blackberry system failure

Is it a good day to bury bad news in the mobile industry? Well with all eyes on the iPhone launch maybe it is for Blackberry. Earlier today the company’s users suffered an outage – not on the scale of last October – but still pretty annoying for its thousands of users across Europe and the UK.
Blackberry’s maker RIM has just put out this statement.
RIM Statement: Our apologies to any customers impacted by the BlackBerry service issue today. We can confirm that services have been restored and are now operating normally.
So is your Blackberry back on track? Today’s outage obviously isn’t what the company needed bearing in mind its tumbling share price and delays of the new Blackberry 10 operating system.
