Three million Samsung Galaxy Note 2 handsets sold in just over a month

Samsung’s Galaxy Note 2 giant phone is proving popular, with the South Korean firm confirming that more than three million of the handsets have been sold in just over a month.
Dwarfing the initial sales of the first Note by some margin (which by comparison had managed just five million sales within five months of going on sale) the 5.5 inch device is laying waste to critics who believe the handset to be to big to be a mainstream success.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 hit UK stores on 1 October, after being first unveiled at IFA at the end of August. You can view our initial hands-on by clicking the video above.
A new LTE version of the Note 2 is now also available through EE’s 4G network.
