Aliens: Colonial Marines to get first single player DLC pack, 'Stasis Interrupted'
Aliens: Colonial Marines, Gearbox’s mediocre sci-fi shooter based on the ace Alien film franchise, is to get its first pack of single player downloadable content.
Uncovered by PS3Trophies (who have also listed the game’s spoiler-filled trophy list), it’s the final piece of DLC from the game’s Season Pass, and the only one to extend the game’s shockingly bad campaign. Named ‘Stasis Interrupted’, familiar locations, enemies and characters from the series will be making an appearance.
Colonial Marines, one of the year’s most highly-anticipated games, proved a huge disappointment, with last-gen visuals, linear, boring corridor shooting gameplay and some of the least-fearsome xenomorphs baddies ever to burst into globs of acid. Only a handful of interesting multiplayer modes kept the game from being totally meritless.
Since release, it has been revealed that the game had a hugely troubled development, with Gearbox outsourcing large chunks of the development to outside studios. Hopefully, with a little more time to fine tune the action, the DLC will be markedly better than the main game it supports.
No word yet on the DLC packs’ release, but you can read our full review of Aliens: Colonial Marines by clicking here.

CRAP GAME!
They should give this for free to all those unlucky enough to pre-order/buy this POS game.
Even then I doubt I’d pay it.
