Google launches 3D map of London

Google has added a 3D map of London to Google Maps… prepare to lose your afternoon to scrolling around.
Remember when Google Earth launched and a handful of buildings would pop up in 3D? Astonishingly, Google has somehow now managed to render the entire city – or the central bit anyway – and it is now live on Google Maps. All you have to do is hit the “tilt” button on the controls and the camera will zoom down to 45 degrees.
All of the major landmarks are there, including the British Museum…
…BBC Broadcasting House
…Conway Hall
…and St Pancras Station
Do pass on our apologies to your boss for a complete lack of productivity this afternoon.
