Call of Duty is probably the biggest-selling game franchises on the market, after GTA. The latest version – Sledgehammer Games’ futuristic Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare – is due out in November, and Activision has just released the new campaign story trailer.
It’s set in the wake of “the first global terrorist attack in history”, in a future policed by private military companies – with the biggest, Atlas Corporation, headed by Jonathan Irons, played by Kevin Spacey.
Expect some pretty graphically-impressive mayhem and a meglomanical performance from a power-mad Spacey …
Activision also revealed was accompanied by the news that three collector’s editions of the game would be available: the Atlas Limited Edition, Atlas Pro Edition and the Digital Pro Edition.
Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare will be available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC on November 4.
