Acer Liquid Jade smartphone and Liquid Leap wristband coming to UK
Acer has announced that its Liquid Leap smart wristband and Liquid Jade smartphone, first presented at Computex in Taipei in June, are now to be released in Europe after their debut at IFA in Berlin next week.
The one-inch Liquid Leap bracelet can connect to the Jade smartphone over Bluetooth to access and control a range of functions such as music and the camera, as well as offering a range of fitness and health monitoring features.
The Leap will be available in white, black, green, pink and orange.
The Liquid Jade is a slim Android 4.4 phone with 5-inch screen, 13-megapixel rear camera and two-megapixel front-facing camera, a 1.3GHz quad-core processor, 8GB built-in memory, a 2100mAh battery.
The Liquid Leap will be available in the UK in late September priced from £79.99. Acer has yet to announce pricing and availability for the Liquid Jade.
