iPhone 6 announcement event scheduled for September 9th

The iPhone 6 is getting closer! Apple has scheduled the 9th September as the big reveal date for the iPhone 6 – at least according to Recode.
Whilst Recode doesn’t cite its source, the date sounds about right with previous expectations that we could expect a press conference around mid-September – with 19th September being another date that had been thrown around.
The speculation is that the reveal on the 9th could mean the iPhone 6 will actually hit shops on September 19th – earlier than the 14th October we had previously thought.
We’ll let you know when we inevitably hear yet more rumours.
